Welcome! I’m Marcella.
Grounded, real, believable. I’m often brought in for real-person reads. Commercials, brand videos, PSAs, and testimonials. Projects that need to feel honest and grounded, not hyped or overproduced. If the script should sound like it’s coming from an actual person, that’s my lane.
I also do a lot of university, institutional, healthcare, and eLearning work. Different spaces, same approach. Calm, clear, and easy to listen to. Credible without being stiff. And, medical terminology is no problem.
I’m an African American voice actor, and I’m trusted on projects that care about authenticity and cultural awareness, while still needing to speak to a wide audience. That balance matters to me, and it shows up in the work.
People usually describe my voice as conversational, warm, and emotionally grounded. Confident, but relaxed. Polished enough to feel professional, but never “voiceover-y.”
